Dungeon Tamer - Early Access Demo

Dungeon tamer is a Dark Fantasy Monster Taming Turn Based JRPG. Mixing elements of Monster Taming with Elements of classic JRPG Story/Lore, Combat, and leveling / crafting progression.

There are many creature throughout the world for you to tame. Discover their awesome abilities and power.  There are dark forces at work, and you must prepare to combat it. 

As you  go on your adventure and Tame different Creature, you'll store them in pages inside your equip-able magical books. 

The "Mage" is the player character, with experience gained, and equip able slots. 

Decay is all that has been know for the last 100 years.  Humanity is at a breaking point. The few that remain fight for the few resources that linger. Corruption has taken root at the very core of the earth. Life is at a standstill. 

Among the few survivors is a hermetic order, the Disciples of Saturn. They have studied and gain a mastery of the very magic that plagues the world. With it they plan to turn the tide of this unweaving evil to bring hope to humanity. 

Our story begins with a young Apostle named Alonso. He has been tasked with providing aid wherever he travels. Currently he is traveling through an ancient path leading to a strange mountain when out of nowhere he receives a message from his old teacher.

The Message Reads

“Greeting Young Apostle,

I hope you find yourself well and that your teachings have serve you. May you fine ease knowing that your sister is bright and healthy in our monastery and little worries have come our way.

We have heard troubling news of a place called Mount Saturnine near a shanty village. Should not be far from where you are traveling.  A few locals have gone missing and I have a terrible premonition that a Vein of Corruption is at the center of this.

You must find this place and eradicate this great evil.”

I attached a parchment with two of Constructs, Choice one and have the remaining one returned. There is another apostle that has taken the oath. Seek them out once the you have made your return from Mount Saturnine. 

- The Disciples Of Saturn

Alonso is one of the many orphans raised by the Disciples of Saturn. They provided refuge and aid to any survivors during the Calamity. Once a hidden order now they are a beacon of hope. 

As humanity rebuilt, the Disciples of Saturn researched and gain mastery of the very magic that was Corrupting the world. With it they created Constructs, a most powerful creature to aid you through your adventures. 

So far we have assembled a small vertical slice of the game to allow player to playtest an early build of the game and provide us with feedback. Remember this is an early version of the game, and does not represent the final look and feel of the game.

Dungeon Tamer has been in development for around 5 months as of Dec 2021 using the Unreal Engine.

We are aiming to do a PC, and console release in  Winter 2022. However we want to have a open development to allow players input all throughout our development. We will be releasing updates regularly, and giving you a sneak peek at what where work on.
